Wednesday 6th September

Last week in SST 9M had finished our work on cultural and heritage. We had 3 visitors: Whaea Kerry, Whaea Monika and Whaea Tara, they came for the whole day and help us finish our work off with 3D and 2D shape creator sites and apps.
We used SculptGL, Tinkercad, VR set and Paint 3D to finish our work with. Our teachers and classmates recorded and explored our class whare in the VR set, it looked really cool. Whaea Kerry explored the virtual whare and took many videos of each students parts of the whare. I loved finishing my work and getting it over and done with. Here is my part of the whare.

Its Dayton from Paihia School. I really enjoyed your blog post about your pepeha in the VR World. I liked how you explained what you were doing and how you were doing it. I enjoyed the part in the video when you showed what you made because it takes a long time to make a VR world. Maybe you can show your whole pepeha and stay in one spot to focus on the pepeha because when I was watching it I couldn’t read the pepeha that well.
Overall, I think it’s good. Hope to comment again.
    Sincerely Dayton.

  2. Kia ora Reitu my name is Angela, I am a year 6 student at Paihia School. I liked your blog and your video about your pepeha in VR world. I liked how you explained & told us what you were doing. I remember when we went to the treaty grounds and we did what you did, but we made Te Ngahere, the forest. Maybe next time you can show your whole pepeha in another blog post if you have time. Please if you have any time check out my blog at http://psangelar.blogspot.com/

  3. Kia ora Reitu, my name is Jahrell and I am a year 6 at Paihia Primary School. I really like your blog post about you using Tilt brush to make an animation about your pepeha. I like how you showed us all of your pepeha and I like how you put images to the side of your pepeha to. Maybe you could put your brothers and sisters into your pepeha too. My class used Tilt brush too. How hard was it to make this Tilt brush? How did you get the photos to go beside your pepeha. Keep the good work up.
    Your Sincerely Jahrell.

  5. Kia Ora Reitu, thanks for sharing the work that you did when you visited Waitangi as well as when Whaea Monika and Kerry came to visit you. I like the detail that you have carved into your Pou as well as the extras you added to make your pepeha interesting. It is great to see all 9M's pepeha in the virtual whare. Ngā mihi, Tara
